The Friends of the Jefferson Public Library invite area residents to “spring for some books” at the spring book sale.
Beginning Thursday, April 26, through Saturday, April 28, the spring book sale is an opportunity to stock up on reading wants and needs.
All genres of books are sold, including large print, mysteries, romance, cookbooks, vintage, gardening, history, westerns, inspirational fiction and non-fiction, young adult and children’s books. Parents and grandparents are invited to be prepared this summer by stocking up on affordable reading materials for everyone.
Other items include DVDs, music and book CDs, jigsaw puzzles, and games. The fundraiser will take place during regular library hours in the basement of the public library.
The Friends of the Jefferson Public Library hosts this annual used book sale as a major fundraiser for our community library. “Through your purchases, you enable our library to offer more resources for everyone to use and enjoy,” a spokesperson said.
Admission to the spring sale is free.
